About Us
Danesfort Childcare Facility provides a secure base from which the children in our care can explore their environment. We teach children how to learn, giving them skills that will enable them to reach their full potential in becoming competent and confident learners and play partners.
We offer a Play-based curriculum, guided by the Siolta Principles, the National Framework for Early Childhood Education, and Aistear - The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework.
Our Mission
We believe that children thrive in an environment that values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
Our Ethos
We maintain a childcare environment where children, their parents and caring staff are happy to be, with equality for all irrespective of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, disability or age.
We take pride in achieving high standards, with positive, respectful interaction the everyday norm. Children are encouraged to express themselves spontaneously and a love of learning is fostered.
